Day-wise itinerary

Day 1
Arrive Tromsø
Transfer to your hotel. Collect thermal gear. Evening free to adjust to a place where the sun may not rise at all.

Day 2
City and first aurora chase
The Arctic Cathedral and the Fjellheisen cable car by day. After dark, out with a guide who drives towards whatever gap in the cloud exists.

Day 3
Dog sledding
A morning driving your own team through the forest, with lunch at the kennel. Second aurora attempt at night.

Day 4
Sami camp and fjord
Reindeer feeding and a Sami lavvu lunch, then an afternoon on the fjord. Third aurora attempt.

Free day
Whale watching in season, snowshoeing, or a slow day. A final chance at the sky.

Depart Tromsø
Transfer to the airport.
