Day-wise itinerary

Day 1
Arrive Srinagar
Met at Srinagar airport and driven to your houseboat or hotel. Afternoon shikara ride on Dal Lake past the floating gardens. Evening free on the boulevard.

Day 2
Srinagar — Mughal gardens
A full day across the Mughal gardens: Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh and Chashme Shahi, then the Shankaracharya temple for the view back over the valley.

Day 3
Srinagar to Gulmarg
Drive up through rice terraces and willow groves to Gulmarg. Gondola to Kongdoori, with the option to continue to Apharwat. Overnight Gulmarg.

Day 4
Gulmarg to Pahalgam
Cross the valley to Pahalgam on the Lidder river. Afternoon in the Betaab and Aru valleys by local taxi. Overnight Pahalgam.

Day 5
Pahalgam at leisure
A slow day — walk the Lidder, ride to Chandanwari, or simply sit by the river. Optional trout fishing arranged on request.

Day 6
Sonmarg day trip
Return towards Srinagar via Sonmarg, the meadow of gold, with the Thajiwas glacier reachable by pony or on foot. Overnight Srinagar.

Day 7
Depart Srinagar
Time for saffron, walnut wood and pashmina shopping before your transfer to the airport.
