Day 1
Arrive Barcelona
Transfer to your hotel. Evening walk down Las Ramblas to the harbour.

Gaudí's Barcelona
Sagrada Família, Park Güell, Casa Batlló and Casa Milà, then the Gothic Quarter.

Montserrat
Day trip to the mountain monastery, with the rack railway and the boys' choir if timings align.

Barcelona to Madrid
High-speed AVE train. Afternoon at the Royal Palace and Plaza Mayor.

Madrid and Toledo
The Prado in the morning, then a half-day in Toledo, the old imperial capital.

Madrid to Granada
Train south. Evening in the Albaicín quarter with the Alhambra lit across the valley.

A full morning at the Nasrid Palaces, the Generalife gardens and the Alcazaba.
